Mission Statement Inequalities in health care among populations that do not have access to lifesaving treatment result in greater incidences of death and disease, especially when addressing the health of the heart. Cardiovascular disease and stroke are among the top killers and are effectively TREATABLE and CURABLE. Dr. Fayaz Shawl Philanthropic Foundation Inc. is dedicated to carry its mission of establishing hospital facilities wherever deemed essential to treat the indigenous that are impoverished and who cannot afford the cost of needed lifesaving cardiovascular medical attention.
The Foundation's philosophy, where there is life, there is hope, is the basis of its mission and the catapult to accomplishing its goals. Improving the quality of life for those who have cardiovascular disease; and educating medical professionals globally and locally with the latest technologies and treatments to address these target populations are fundamental goals of the Foundation.
Its Founder, Dr. Fayaz Shawl, along with Lifesaving Partners like you - share a passion - to improve the quality of life for patients with cardiovascular disease, and who must have safe, effective treatment in order to live.
Having accomplished a world record of over 19,000 such interventional procedures, Dr. Shawl has also made a world record of not a single death during the interventional procedure (May 1988 - December 2006 ) in the Catheterization Laboratory due to his Innovation of Percutaneous Bypass Support System in 1988. These results and his expertise in this field has been telegraphed globally. To this extent, he is besieged by the multitude for his services that one man cannot possibly serve, such as his desire in restoring a life that otherwise would cease to exist.
Dr. Shawl, recognizes his God-given precision methodology in this field and has dedicated himself to give all of his talent, knowledge and experience to teach other medical professionals such technique that they in turn can serve their fellow brethren wherever in the universe.
This benevolent Doctor has devoted much time, energy and finance in the past and continues to do so by traveling through village upon village in remote areas of India, Pakistan, South America, and the Middle East to assist and perform such intricate procedures as a means of education. However, the need is overwhelming and the financial drain is more than one doctor can bear. Therefore, this Philanthropic Foundation is making its appeal to humanitarians all over the world to "give back" some of their monetary blessings so that others might live.
Plans are underway to create hospital facilities wherever deemed essential to treat the indigenous who are impoverished and cannot afford the cost of such medical attention. Human beings like you and I, but unfortunately faced with a heart malady that would succumb by death if it were not a kind benefactor to assist financially to this Foundation.
